HELLOOOOO>>>>

So.. Yea I know it’s been a looong time since I updated the blog..So here we go.
May…
For May well we got an offer on our house the last week of May and was getting ready for the closing process for all of June.  We began packing the rest of our stuff as at first we were going to close Mid-July.  In June we had a great visit with the Moellers!  Nancy, Steve, Emory, Sam, Ted, Karen, Kelly, Katy, John & Grandma Nancy (Steve’s mom)  oh man we had GREAT fun.  We all got to take Kelly’s tour at Kilaminjaro and watch the fireworks at the Magic Kingdom.  We were there late; thankfully Robyn napped midday so we were able to go see the night parade too!
We had a bad event with Murphy bird one night when we were visiting with them at their hotel.  One HECK of a storm blew through and when we got home I found her not able to talk much and barely perch!  OMG.. So that night I kept her warm.  Next day she ate, pooped and perched.. I called the Vet and she said as long as was eating, drinking and pooping because of her age to leave her alone for a few days.  Later in the week I took her in and she had a VERY bad bruise on her chest.  She was getting better by then as well.  It took almost 6 weeks before she was back to her old self.  There must have been a bolt of lightning that struck near the house and it must have scared her.  Poor birdie.
So June.  David traveled again to Atlanta for another interview.  This one we had to pay for the airfare ourselves.  Turns out they went with another candidate.  But he was able to score two free round trip tickets with AirTran because he took the bump on a full flight!  NICE! We packed more of our stuff this month.. well I did honestly.  We took Robyn to the beach for the very first time!  She LOVED it.  We went to Jetty Park because you can sit on the beach and watch the cruise ships leave! That was cool.  And then had a BBQ with Aunt Beth and Uncle John by the playground!  Again she had a great time!
The next weekend we went down to visit the Bricks. Robyn had soo much fun with her aunt, uncle and cousins.  We had a feeling it’ll be a while before we’d be able to see them again.
July..
We were able to get an extension of the closing till the 27th of July.. we needed it.  Our second POD arrived on the 16th and we begun to get the last of our stuff loaded up.  The closing was moving along, sorta.  Then on the night of the 25th our agent called and said that something came up on one of the buyers and if she didn’t hear anything positive by 5pm she’d call the contract and put the house back on the market.  Yea, we lost our closing 2 days before we were supposed to close!  Yea can you say stressful!  We were moving up to GA that next Monday with what was left in the house after the pod was filled.  And Robyn and I would live with my folks while David commuted every other weekend since he hadn’t gotten a job yet in GA.  I was approved to keep my Disney job and work remotely.  But it required I work from GA (tax thing) so that’s why Robyn and could not stay in FL.. it’s a good thing too….read on.
That Saturday the 28th, we had 3 different groups come see the house.  And we decided that we needed to still move forward.  We would just leave the house as the ultimate bachelor pad for David until the house sold instead of him staying with our priest and his wife at their house(they kindly offered).  The Day.. yes the DAY we were leaving and finishing up a family wanted to see the house.. we were in the pool while they toured it.  And they made an offer 2 days later.. we countered and then it was sold for the same price we had gotten before but this time.. it was  A CASH OFFER!!! No more crazy bank stuff like the last one.  Yea we got that offer and all that done while we were in GA.  We took extra time off, stayed with Suzanne, went to a Braves game then moved our necessary living stuff in with my folks in Pavo, GA.
So..August.
So the second week of August Robyn and I went down to FL and we packed up the rest of our stuff into ANOTHER truck and closed on the house on the 16th. I think that was one of the longest days of my life.  We finished up the last of the packing in the morning, drove to downtown ORL to sign the papers.  Eat something quick at IKEA, He left with the truck and I deposited the check then headed to Suzanne’s with the stuff we had left in the house for him.  Gosh again.. another flipping truck.  Wish we hadn’t had to do that twice.  That sucked.  After all was said I was with Robyn with my folks in Pavo and David would work 8 days straight and have 6 days off. (back to back days in a 4 ten hour schedule).  It worked for a month then it wasn’t’ working out at my folks.  So Sept 1st Robyn and I moved to be with Aunt Suzanne full time and now David would have to drive a bit farther.  I have to say, it’s been better.  Instead of a studio apartment type of room, where I couldn’t do much after she went to bed..she has her own room here and she LOVES being with Aunt Suzanne and Morgan(the dog!)  There’s so much more for us to do here and we were able to find a preschool less than a mile down the road. So she is able to interact with other kids her age.  And she LOVES it.  I have no drama whatsoever when I drop her off.  Not like I did when I dropped her off at daycare at the YMCA.
So.. Sept.  David came up once and I went down.  Our friends were getting married on 9/30.  I came down the Thursday before and we stayed at the new Lion King Suite at Disney’s Art of Animation.  I worked on Friday.. it was nice to see everyone in person!  We were able to get Robyn in to see her ENT, and her ears are fine.  That was a relief!  We also got to visit Aunt Debbie and Uncle Allen.  Man that lady can put on a most delicious lunch spread!! YUM!  Robyn loved seeing them and Yogi their doggie.
That Saturday we went to Blizzard Beach for the very first time.  We went with Riley & Maddy and their mommy Kate.  OMG what fun.  Maddy said it was the best day of her kid life so far!  I have to agree.  We had a blast!  What a great day.  Perfect warm day, Blizzard was great for the littler ones.  We were exhausted!  We went to Trails End at Fort Wilderness for dinner and she crashed in the car on the way back to our hotel! Purrfect!  Sunday we went to church in the morning, was nice to see everyone again then that afternoon was the wedding.  Wow beautiful bride!  We had a great time!  Robyn even took a nap between the ceremony and reception.  Anna, Thank you sister!, brought a fun little toy for Robyn to have.. that was a lifesaver at the reception!  Again she crashed on the way home!  We put her in her jammies before we left the reception.  Monday we were able to go to Sea World for free!  I was able to trade some tickets with a friend.  Wow it was muggy, I’d forgotten. It had been nice up in GA!  Tuesday we got a late checkout.. hung out did some laundry and ate some Pasta Bowl. Robyn and I flew back home.  It was great family mini-vacation!  Pictures soon to follow.
So here we are in Oct.  David had a few interviews and got called back on one last week.  We are hoping to hear wonderful news this week.  I pray every night that we can be together as a family full time again.  It’s been hard.  I do have to say I will miss being here at Aunt Suzanne’s house.  I know Robyn will too.  We have really enjoyed being here.  It’s soo much fun to watch the two of them together.  Robyn is soo lucky to be able to hang out with her aunt this much.  I’m torn, I want to be in our own home and yet still have this nifty feeling I have living here.  Quite the conundrum.   I know God’s plan will come one day, I pray for patience for me and understanding for Robyn.  She kinda gets that Daddy has to go to FL so he can make money so she can have toys(our best way to explain it to her).  But she misses him lots and so do I.

I will do my darndest to keep the blog updated more often.  Robyn is going to be Dorothy from Wizard of Oz for Halloween!  She loves the red shoes and the fact she gets to carry a basket with a dog in it.  She wanted to take Morgan in her basket. I don’t think he’d go for that!

Hello May! Where was April?

Sorry no post in April.  It wasn't the most fun month.  Robyn got the flu just before Easter and then David got it and then I got it.  Let's say it was not a fun 2.5weeks!  Coughs and fevers.. yuck.

David didn't get the Home Depot jobs.. so we keep looking and posting for jobs in Atlanta.  As soon as he has a job we move.  And it can't happen soon enough for me.  I'm so ready!

Also we've been really busy.  Keeping the house pretty for folks to come take a look and it seems that every weekend we've had a party!  Crazy!  First for Cinco de Mayo then one for a friend who graduated from nursing school.  Robyn was awesome at all of them.  And showed off her swimming skills!  She is quite the fish!  We are thinking of doing a few more swim lessons to work on her swimming swimming.  Meaning she can jump in, hold her breath, but she really doesn't swim to the side of the pool on her own.

She's talking like crazy!  and has a fantastic sense of humor!  Yesterday was one of the best days ever.  It's was one of those days I used to pray about when we were waiting to be parents.  And it was quite the blessing to have one!  First Robyn and I were home and we needed to get out of the house because we were having 3 different groups come through to see the house.  Which is good!!  So first we went to the library to return some books and check out a few more.  She was sooo good and she picked a few out as well.  Then we had some lunch at Market Street Cafe.. yummy chips with blue cheese sauce and blue cheese crumbles!  Also some eggs and toast.  Robyn loved the blue cheese and toast!  And had some of my eggs!  Then she says to me.  Mommy I peed.  !  Thankfully we were eating outside and the chair had holes in it!  So off to the restroom to change into her bathing suit.  After lunch it was time to run through the big fountain!!  She had a blast!  There was this other little boy that was about 4 and he would not go thru the big part.  Robyn took her time, assessed the situation and then went for it!  Just ran right in!  I love this kid!  no fear! She had a blast!  She was doing dances and I had tears I was laughing so hard, just enjoying her joy!

Then she comes over and says.. I'm done Mommy.  As we were walking away she saw a little girl with Rainbow ice cream Mommy I want one!... so we walked over to Kilwins for some yummy ice cream!  She was covered in it!  So back to the fountain for a quick rinse!  I love this kid.  We had soo much fun.

She is growing..  Man this kid has been eating and eating!  She grew an inch since December!  and her feet are now a size 7 frm the 6.5 she's been for a few months.  And I know she's still growing I hear her grown at night. And she's in the middle of a mental growth.. not sure how to word that.  This morning I asked her if it was a nightmare she had when I went into her room last night.. and she looks right at me and says.  "I think so."  so matter of factly!  Then the other day I asked her about school and she tells me she had fun and had ham, cheese, water and pineapple!  She said the Ham was good Mommy!  Love my good eater!

Oh she has this great game she only plays with Daddy.  She says .. Daddy.. he says Robyn.. and they go back and forth.. changing how it said fast, slow. silly.  sometimes it's Baba, sometimes Daddy.  It's soo funny!

So that's the fun we are having.  I'm loving it!  Here are some pictures!

House is up for sale!!

Howdy!
So the house went on the market about 2 weeks ago and we've had two viewings. One was paying cash and offered us 20K under our asking price. Disgusting. Seriously did they not see that it JUST went on the market and by no means are we desperate! Anyway.. we hope that we get a fair deal so we can have a decent amount to put down on a house in GA.

David has some exciting things happening. He is being flown to ATL next week for an interview with Home Depot! VERY EXCITING! Please keep him in your prayers as he goes for this job. We are hoping that it goes well. Hey a discount at Home Depot would be cool, DANGEROUS, but totally cool!

Robyn is just totally awesome. I can't believe I get to be her mommy. She is soo much fun and is really developing a fantastic sense of humor! Love her funny faces she makes now and her silly dancing! Below is a video of the dance she did after putting on her new bathing suit! I had forgotten hers at home so I bought one at the resort for her. It has Minnie on it and she loves it!
Speaking of resort my side of the family came for a visit this past weekend! We all had a GREAT time. This time they stayed at Port Orleans/French Quarter, which I think we all agree is now one of our favorites! Very nice and quiet in Bldg One and lots of trees, a great themed resort. Robyn had soo much fun hanging out with her Grandma and Grandpa. He's no longer Mopma. And lots of fun playing with her cousins Nick and Chris! She had a blast in the pools and we had fun in the parks with everyone! But oh man, my feet were killing me after just two days. How do people come here and do this for a week! no way!

Hope all is well with everyone! Enjoy the video!

Voila! you are at the Magic Kingdom!

What a great party!

Oh man we had fun! It was a crazy weekend but totally worth it! The bouncy house arrived Friday. Yea I get a call from a neighbor at work around 3pm that the guys were there. I called them and he's like well i was on this side of town. I said, no we agreed between 6pm and 8. I'm not off till 4:15 and that's an hour earlier than normal! Figures.. well he drops it off anyway and I see him the next day with his money. No big deal.

Then on Saturday Robyn was up at 5AM! ug.. FIVE AM... Can we say she was just a LITTLE bit excited! David went back to sleep while her and I hung out in her room for a bit then did some coloring till around 730 or so. And that's when I told her to go get her Daddy up gently. Yea that didn't happen.. She slings the door aside (it's a pocket door) and runs in and yells! "Daddy get up!" Poor guy.

So we spent the morning getting the house cleaned up, the patio decorated and the food ready for the party. We had her test out the bounce house on her own! Around 1145 or so I took Robyn with me to Publix to get a few items I forgot. As we are checking out she says to me "Mommy I peed my pants" Oh MAN! ok.. so I don't have ANYTHING with me.. This was a quick trip to the store for like 3 items! So after I put the groceries in the car I strip her to her bottom.. wipe her with a towel I had in the car and buckle her in with nothing on from the waist down. It's all I had. She was upset. I think it was more that she was tired than the accident. Then I heard the .. I'm tired .. cry as I was driving home. (our Publix is only 2.5miles away) so I took the long way and bam.. she fell ASLEEP!!! YEY! I was really hoping she would. There's no way she would have made it through her party having been up at 5am. That gave us some quiet time to get the food ready. We made Huli Huli Wings.. like a pineapple Teriyaki sauce on them and a pineapple salad. David cooked the wings perfectly.. they were deelish!

We had to wake her once the guests started arriving! She was a bit groggy but ready to go. She didn't want to wear her special Lilo oufit, too itchy she said. Ya see she wanted to have a Lilo party, so we did a Hawaiian themed party with Lilo and Stitch. She wanted to wait for Riley and her sister Maddy to come before going into the bounce house. Once the girls arrive the kids were out there enjoying it! oh it was fun watching them play. Such joy.

The Publix ice cream cake was a hit and we all just had a really nice time. It was funny how shy she got when we sang Happy Birthday! She loves that song! Anyway, we had beautiful weather, and it got cooler as the day went on. Breezy but not too windy for the bounce house! All in all we had a GREAT day!

It's a good thing we did the party Saturday, Sunday was gray and miserable. What a shame she didn't get to use the bouncy house at all because of the rain. You get the thing for the entire weekend! oh well. :(

On Sunday our agent was supposed to come out to take the pictures and get the ball rolling on putting the house on the market. She was unable to because, it would seem, gloomy weather does not make for good pictures of the house! So I checked the weather and tomorrow is supposed to be bright and sunny. That just gave us a bit more time on Sunday to get the house all sparkly! And wow it looks good!

So there ya go. Wish us luck and prayers to get the house sold at a fair price and for David to get a job. I'll tell you about my new job in another post. I REALLY like it! I'm having fun again at work. I love my new office and I got all sorts of cool swag!

ZaiJian,
~Donna

Cool shot of her helping us clean up the patio.

What happens when you leave her with a role of scotch tape!

For the Braves Fans.. McGriff! and Pendelton. We didn't see David Justice, but he was around there somewhere.

Looking cool while coloring...

Happy Birthday to you!
