TEST TEST

Ok gonna try posting to the blog from our email.  Need to have a backup plan incase we can't get to the blog when we are in China!  And no we don't have a date yet.  We are hoping we can go get our fingerprints early by just walking up to the office.  We'll see how that goes.  Right now we are waiting for the mail to show up.  Gotta have the invitation before we can go.  The date on the invitation is August 11th.  That puts us WAY too close to our expiration.  So thus the walk up.  Wish us luck!

NBC...argh

So we are still waiting on our paperwork.. it's a nightmare. Does anyone know anyone who works at the National Benefit Center and they could find our paperwork in the boxes and boxes of stuff and get it processed. There's a hungry little girl we need to bring home!! argh it's sooo frustrating. China is ready.. it's Uncle Sam that's holding us up.
ANYWAY... last weekend we had our shower with his family in Atlanta. Wow we had a GREAT time! I think everyone was there! My mom came up with us too. We had lots of fun and came home with some great stuff and tons of clothes. Man this kid is gonna look good! Then yesterday was my shower with my friends and Trish really out did herself. I'm so glad she was able to help me host it. We had a few folks show up we didn't expect which was great. The quiche was deelish! and the butterfly cupcakes where a hit. I got the idea from this website. http://www.marthastewart.com/article/butterfly-cupcakes very cute! Except I used chocolate sprinkles for the antenna because I couldn't find the liquorish. Thanks to everyone who came. Again we got some great things for the baby and all sorts of cute outfits. Her great Aunt Dot made her a panda teddy bear that is just adorable!

Well I really have lots to put away and organize. I love organzing...... anyway got to get all the new things in their place. Keep us in our prayers that we travel soon.

We have a MATCH!!!

Yes it's true! On May 18th we were notified that there is a little girl named YaLian in Tianjin City for us!. Her birthday was last March, 2009! So she's now 15monthish... We are now waiting on Uncle Sam to have us come do our fingerprints (they expire 7/11) and our updated I171H. So once we have that we can travel!

We are hoping we'll be able to update the blog while we are overseas.. so here's hoping!
