Happy Spring!!

I can't believe March is almost over. It seems that just last week was her birthday. And holy cow she has just made some serious leaps and bounds the last week or two. She's talking!! she's pretty quiet but now says Eye and points to her eye or anything else's eye. Mouth, nose, Shoes, Please.. sounds a bit like a hum. I just ask her what's the magic word and she signs and makes the hmm sound for Please. very cute! It's really cool to see her personality develop.. to see who she is as a person. She looks more like a little girl now instead of a baby.. man she's growin so fast. She got her shorts on all by herself yesterday! Just couldn't get them over her butt!.. dang those diapers! She tells me when she's poopy. That's a start, now just need her to tell me just before hand and start working a bit on the potty training.

She is throwing things.. it's VERY annoying. Especially at the dinner table and when we go out to eat. It's a nasty habit that we think she picked up at daycare. She loves it when we read to her and she is just so gosh darn smart. We now have to spell things around her! Can't say snack or puffs anymore. S-N-A-C-K? soon that won't work. we'll have to get some bigger words. My mom said you find that your vocabulary gets lofty just so you can talk around them! We are stunned that we have to start doing that already!

This weekend Aunt Suzanne and her friend Vicky came to visit and have a fun weekend at EPCOT. We went with them for a few hours on Saturday and got some great pictures. It was a beautiful day. The flowers for the festival were gorgeous. She was very good and had lots of fun! We went to the China pavilion and watched the movie. It was cool to see it after having been to China. Very cool.

Work is going great. I love my new job and the people I work with. I'm learning lots of stuff. I'm re-programming a website to do a simple lookup. It's my first and a great starter. It WORKS!! The hardest part was trying to figure out what someone else's code was doing! And I didn't know Visual Basic. So I'm taking an on-line course and having a bit of a crash course at work!

Saturday we drive down to Pt St Lucie to see Carol, Lance, Nick and Chris. We are nervous about the 2hr drive. Hope it goes well. And hoping she falls asleep on the way home. We hoping to take Nick to his first baseball game. Nothing more exciting than your first baseball game! The Braves are playing the Mets for a Spring Training game. Looks like it's gonna be a really nice day too! We got seats in the shade so that's even better!

Happy Birthday Robyn.. a week later...

First is that video of Robyn chasing Uncle John.. can you see she barely comes up to his knee caps!!! She is definitely not afraid of Uncle Johnny!!!

Her birthday party went great!.. It was lots of fun, great weather and man the kid made out like a bandit! And it was pretty neat that we only had little girls at the party! Maddy-4(almost5) Marley-3, Robyn- 2, Riley -1 almost 2, and Quinn.. 6mos! Girl Power!!

Havin fun with Grandma!

Ok.. so since then.. she was trying to reach for a toy on a high shelf at daycare and lost her balance and hit her face just below her right eye on a lower shelf. Poor kid has a nice shiner.. that was last Monday.. it's now all sorts of pretty colors!! then Wed..she was .. i think running .. in the kitchen and fell and wacked her head on the edge of one the cabinets and got a nice welt above her right eye.. well I guess it's nice that everything is on the same side of her face! Then she got bronchitis.. we went to the Dr on Thurs because she had started wheezin some and she's just been all congested for a few weeks now and just hasn't shaken it yet. Dang all this pollen, just making us all miserable!!

This weekend we had to buy a new ceiling fan for our bedroom. We got 22yrs out of the last one.. that ain't bad! It started making a grinding noise in the middle of the night and woke us both up! We got a nice one at Home Depot and was able to install it during her nap today. looks good.

Oh Wednesday we went to a Spring Training game at the Disney Sports Complex. We were at that game the coach got hit in the face with a line drive. SCARY.. at one point we weren't sure if he was still alive. Just watching Chipper Jones' face was distressing enough. It happened right in front of us, but we couldn't see exactly what happened because he fell back into the dugout. They had to take him off the field in an ambulance and then we saw a Medivac Helicopter come by outside the stadium to take him to ORMC.. This week were thinking of going to the Rays/Marlins.. until I found out they play at Roger Dean Stadium in Jupiter!!! yikes I thought they were in Viera.. oopsy. So we'll be going to see the Nationals vs Astros instead in Kissimmee.. much closer. Still baseball.. so that works! Should be in the lower 80s and sunny.. NICE!
