4months today!!!

Just four months ago was Gotcha day!!! Can't believe it's only been four months! Feels like at least 6 already! We are having a blast too!! She is an absolute joy and so.. yes.. flippin cute!

She is still wearing 12month pants.. but 18month tops.. with the sleeves rolled up! She hates having to put on all these clothes during the colder days! What more mommy.. sheesh let me go play!

I took the video yesterday... she was walking back and forth to her play table holding her bag! Here's a pick from lunch today. I got some cottage cheese.. and YUM!! she loves cottage cheese!!!

Monday is her next follow up appt with the surgeon. I'll make sure to update anything from the appt then.

For now.. Happy New Year!!!

Merry Christmas!!

soo cute!!

a Box Rocks!!

It's here, we finally have our child and it's Christmas.. been praying for this day for a LOOONGG time. Well it's not quite Christmas but man are we having loads of fun..

First of all.. holy cow this kid is popular! I swear we get a box at the doorstep just about everyday with more stuff for her! Christmas presents are going to be everywhere Christmas morning. I've been stashing them in our room and we'll put them out after she goes to bed tomorrow. Have two more presents that should come in today.. whew that's cutting it close. Not that she'd realize they were late! We'll make sure to take lots of pictures!

She is soooo close to walking without holding on. She wants to practice all the time. She stands up and holds our hands.. backs herself up and lets go.. then RUNS towards you! It's soo cute! Every other day or so she backs up farther and takes a few more steps before falling forward. I'll try to get a short video and post it!

She's napping now. She had some issues sleeping last week, but that seems to have resolved itself this week. Must have been a growth spurt. She's 20.5lbs!! now and we measured her and she's gained about an inch! yey! She still wears 12mos pants.. 18mos falls off.. but in shirts she's 18mos wide.. but not her arms.. I have to fold up the sleeves.. So right now we can wear 12 & 18mo shirts but really only 12mos pants.. again,ll gut no butt.

She is really starting to enunciate her words. She says "all done" very clearly with a defined "D".. and hello. we hear those "ls" really well. Now that she can hear more clearly we can see the difference in her talking. Lots of cute cute cute baby babble.. love it!

So .. I'll try and post early next week with the Christmas pictures.. for now here is a REALLY cute one.. and the second is from a box we were playing in!.. of course boxes are totally awesome!

Update

So her post op appt went great. She's healing and we no longer have to do ear drops or antibiotics. We have to stay on the yogurt consistency diet tho.. that sucks. This girl likes to eat! We can move to soft foods next week.. pasta and such. Which is what she was eating before so that's good. Just no cookies, crackers and stuff for 6 weeks.

She is eating well. We've been making soup and stuff and using our hand blender to blend stuff for her and buying baby food. It costs more but easier for those time when she's hungry and you just need to crack open something on the fly. I don't know if she' gained or lost any weight. I'll try and remember to weigh her tomorrow. Otherwise she's doing great. She finally slept through the night with no wake ups last night. She's been really congested. They said that she would be because she's never been in her life and she doesn't know to snort that stuff out of her nose and of course swallowing is different. It is getting better, she doesn't snore as much and the drool is lessening.. MAN the drool!!! it's been.. yikes!! again she wouldn't swallow (guess it hurt or was weird). Like I said it's not as bad. Had to buy those bibs with cloth on outside and plastic on inside so she wouldn't be soaked, esp since it's so freakin cold. COLD!!! HATE IT!!! It's not even freakin winter.. ug

So here are some cute pics from the last few weeks. Enjoy! Note how her hair is growing in!! looking even cuter.. if that is possible! As Aunt Nancy says.. she's so flippin cute.

Home Sweet Home

We were released this morn and home by 12:15. She fell asleep in the car and it only took David a few minutes in her room to get back to sleep. Then I finally ate something and we all napped for an hour or two.

Let me just say she is amazing. She's doing great. After her nap and a snack she was sooo excited to play with her toys she was just a jibber jabbering away! We didn't need the arm braces during the day. She just doesn't put her fingers in her mouth. Actually I left her with one arm free all last night in the hospital. It was a rough night. She was up here and there and of course every time the nurse came in with meds or a vitals check. She really hates getting her blood pressure taken. God Bless Liz the night nurse, Robyn wanted to play around 1230am and I was beat. She took her down the hall with her to hang out and was able to get her to eat more jello and drink some. I go 2-3hrs of sleep. THAT was awesome.

She had a good amount of drooly blood from nose, mouth and ears at first but it's lessening. Now she's just drool drool drool. She doesn't want to swallow, must hurt some. Dr. was happy with her healing already and she ate some so we were allowed to go home.

The pain she is experiencing the most is from her IV spot. The original IV done in the OR got bent or something and they removed it yest afternoon because she couldn't get it to flush. So we took it out.. well Robyn wasn't drinking so we decided to redo it in the other arm for the night so she'd have fluids.. well however this person did her arm.. man she looked like she had Popeye arm! poor thing, and when we got home it was sore!!! she did NOT like us touching it and there were blisters and raw spots.. it's just awful! So we took the bandaid off and tried to clean it up some and I put some neosporin and some gauze so it heals up some tonight. She has her arm braces on mostly because we can't be sure she won't put her hands in her mouth. Don't want to ruin anything and have to go through this again!

So thank you EVERYONE for all your prayers we could feel them coming our way. I can't say it enough how blessed we are to have Robyn, she is just an angel.

Surgery done!

YEY!! She's done. Seems that she was awesome and hardly fussed. The palate repair went great but we'll have to keep an eye on her ears. They were a "mess" to quote the dr. There's going to be lots of draining and when the tubes come out most likely she'll need new ones. Hearing issues??? that remains to be seen. It's something we'll have to keep after for a long time.

She will need the bone graft surgery in a few years. He said that there wasn't much bone for her teeth on the right side. We'll worry about that later. Healing starts now!

The hospital has WIFI so I'll keep updating the blog.. and feel free to skype(type only.. this laptop HATES wifi and video) and Windows messenger me.

I hate Waiting.

To quote Inigo Montoya... She's been in surgery an hour now. We had some breakfast and they have the Disney XD Channel on in the Children's surgery waiting room. Which is nicer than the adult one from what we saw. She was a real trooper.. only started to get a bit winy for food just before they took her back. They didn't mellow her out before taking her back, guess the anesthesiologist didn't want to do that. He is Dr. Jones! love it!

Well will update as soon as the dr comes out. should be in an hour or so. We pray that all goes well.

2 days to go.

Yesterday she had her preop blood work at Florida Hospital. Great day to head downtown!! no traffic and no one at the hospital! We didn't have to pay for parking and it only took and hour or so. Poor Robyn, they had to try two times before they got blood. She was quite the trooper. Maria was a great help..her doll. It's so cute how she holds on to her.

So we now know where to go Tuesday morning for her surgery and where we will wait and .. ugh.. part of me is ok and part of me is a wreck. My baby, I just got her and I can't loose her now. Yea you always worry when surgery is involved. I try to stay positive and let me tell you I've been praying all the time. And I think she sense our stress/worry. It's been hard to get her to sleep. Tonight took an hour! We just want to hold her all the time and she wants to be with us. Poor thing got another cold and is just about over it. David was keen on it on Wednesday and got her to the dr before the holiday. Tomorrow is the last day of meds so we are really hoping that she is a go for surgery on Tuesday. We go to the surgeon preop on Monday afternoon and they have the final say. Things are all in order so we really don't want to delay it any longer. it would be great to have it over with and done before she gets older and might remember it.

Otherwise she's doing great. We have moments of standing without holding on. Then she realizes she's not holding on and either falls or grabs on. She can walk anywhere as long as she is holding on to something. She's also gibber jabbering like crazy. I think she says mama now.. sorta hard to tell. Like I said last post she's almost 20lbs but from what we can tell she really hasn't gotten any taller. maybe an inch?!?! she is gonna be one petite little girl. Her hair is getting longer and now she actually gets bad hair days! so cute. and that's one thing that is for sure this girl is so flippin cute! When she had her blood work all the nurses had to come and see her and tell us how she cute she is! She is gonna charm them all on Tuesday! And let me tell you Daddy is gonna have his hands full when she gets older. guess he'll have to keep his shotguns handy!

No pics right now. maybe later. Plan on brining the laptop to the hospital. not sure if they have Wifi but I hope so.

Well that's all for now.

More pics and an update...

So yey she's over her cold.. actually was pretty much done last Tuesday. David took her to the dr yesterday for her follow up and and they said her lungs were clear. And the little bugger now weighs 19.4 lbs!!!! Wahooo! She's getting so big! She's now wearing 12mos.. but not for much longer and wears a size 2 shoe. She can wear 18mos shirts.. but man I have to shorten everything. She is very short. We both realize that she's gonna be very petite.

She loves the ladies at "school" and they love her. She went 3 days last week. David wanted to be home for Aunt Nancy's visit last Thursday. She was fine. This week it's back to only 2 days. Next week is just one and then the week after is her surgery. It all depends on how she heals to when David goes back to work FT again. Then Christmas is here and then her Baptism in January. YIKES!! Time is just flying by.

She's really starting to understand us now. She loves her baby doll we named Maria, after one of her great grandmothers and Frank.. he's a stuffed animal frog. (we named a frog outside who chirped all summer long Frank, thus his name)

She's not walking on her own yet. She can walk holding on and does her butt scoots on the floor. She is a very happy girl and for the most part sleeps through the night and nap. Except today. She's been in her room since 12:40pm. and has been blabbing on the entire time (it's almost 2pm now) guess no nap today. She'll be miss cranky for sure later. oh well. Maybe she'll go to bed earlier.

She's just a joy to have and we count our blessings everyday to be .. well blessed with her in our lives.

Sick Gal.

Poor kid has bronchitis. Got her to the dr yesterday, ask me about that if you call me, and she's on antibiotics, prednisone, and a nebulizer. Oh fun. She's much better today, actually she's been napping going on 3.5hrs!! We all need our sleep when we are sick.

She had a ball with her Aunt Suzanne this past Saturday! They played and played. Suzanne was kind enough to hang at the house during her nap so we could go vote early. I LOVE early voting! So much easier. Aunt Nancy is coming down next week, good timing she should be over this by then.

We got our pool fence installed today. SOOO glad that is done. One less worry. She just recently "discovered" the patio and sliding glass doors and we've been VERY vigilant in making sure we close them when we go in and out.. but as they say.. it only takes one time to forget and seconds and she's out there. It looks good and it's still easy to get around the pool. Will post a pic later. It's rainy yucky today. BUT that means that it's a COLD front and wahoo.. highs in the mid 70s' tomorrow and near 70 on the weekend! Fall will have finally arrived here in Central Florida! And just in time for the time change. That'll be interesting to see how that goes with Robyn! We were supposed to start daycare this week, but her sickness nixed that in the butt. So next week she'll go. Let's hope it goes well.

Here are a few shots from last week. I meant to post this past Sunday.

Our cool pumpkins!!

Robyn and Aunt Suzanne!

My car has been puffed!! She can't just take one out of the snack cup... they all come out and roll under her butt! I discovered this pile after getting her out of the car!
She put this box on her head all by herself!! soo cute!

Just being cute.. what else can I say.

Surgery.. Nov 30th

That's the big day. When she gets her palate fixed. We really liked Dr.Stieg. He was soo confident, it was cool the hear that. Like no big deal, done this thousands of times! I like that! He said that her lip fix was not good.. but beautiful! He was totally impressed of how it was done back in China!.. YEY.. I mean everyone has always commented on how you could hardly tell and it was cool to hear the professional's opinion was the same!

So she goes in early that Tuesday and will have to spend at least one night in the hospital. She can go home as soon as she is drinking. He says the younger they are the earlier they go home, so let's hope we are in that group. She'll have to wear braces on her arms so she can't stick her fingers in her mouth.. see this link.. http://www.pediatricmedicalsolutions.com/Order.html Somehow I don't think she'll be soo happy like those two girls. I'm thinking those shots were photoshopped with happy faces! Either way it has to be done, let's just hope she heals fast so we can dump the braces. Should be interesting when she bathes!..

She is sooo close to standing. Today I saw her let go and hover before sitting plop on her butt! oh man here it comes she'll be running in no time!

Today we went to Target and tried out the new shopping cart liner I made. It was great! She likes to "chew" on the cart!!! oh man.. usually I put my sweat jacket there so she doesn't eat the cart! was nice to have something else there. She was great and fell asleep in the car on the way home. She's napping now, we are going on 2hrs so I should hear her soon.

Here are some more pictures..

Looking cute for church in a dress I got long ago. figured she should wear it now before she grows out of it!

just a few more pics

We went to EPCOT Saturday eve to see Howard Jones with our new neighbors.. Mr Jones was great. Then we went over to the China pavillion and we were floored on how small their Temple of Heaven is.. I mean TINY compared to the real one. So we had to get a picture! was fun to see it after seeing the real thing.

Fun in the Sun.

No, it wasn't me who emptied the diaper box.. all over.

Looking cool at EPCOT listening to Howard Jones.

Strange flavor..

She's thinking.. yum.. I've had stuff in tubes like this before and it was yummy!!

Whoa.. yuk!!! Dad Rutabagas are icky..I don't care what you say!

Yea we've been busy. So many of you tell me you check this thing.. so here I am postin..

So this week.. Well David's team did a great surprise party for his 20th Company Anniversary. Which was actually on Gotcha Day, Aug 30th when we were in China! It was a baseball theme with hot dogs and nachos. Great touch! And he was surprised too!

Thursday night we went to our ballroom dance class group to see how the group dance is coming along. We are just not able to participate, for obvious reasons. Robyn LOVED watching them dance. She was mesmerized!

Saturday we went to the Celebration Rotary Club pancake breakfast. David had met a neighbor while walking with Robyn thru our neighborhood. He had a wagon that he suggested we bid on.. and we did.. and we won it. No pictures here yet. They are still in the camera. Afterwards we went to the pumpkin patch to get our pumpkin and take some pictures of the gal. She was scared of the hay.. too funny.

Otherwise she's doing great. We find it humorous that people ask how she's adjusting.. hmm let's see Here's What I'm thinking.. she's thinking
these two people feed me, change me and play with me all the time instead of being in an orphanage.. it rocks...

So yea she's doing great. This week it appointment week. Tuesday I have my 6month dental cleaning, then Wednesday is the big ENT appt. We meet the grand poo-ba of drs for cleft palate. This is where we hope to find out what our gal has ahead of her. Please say some prayers that it's well.. ya know on the easier side of things. I dread the surgery but know she'll be happier in life with it. And in doing it young she won't remember.

Thursday, haircut for David. fun huh. And then this weekend Aunt Beth and Uncle John come on out. We can't wait for her to see how well Robyn is progressing! She's amazing now. Crawls at top speed, and is drinking from a cup sooo much better and holds on and walks around her table. Soo cute!

Well.. time to wrap up. Will update after the big doctor appt. Again wish us luck!

17 pounds!!

Oh yea.. this girl is finally putting on some weight! She only weighed 14lbs back on Sept 7th when we went to the Clinic in China! You can tell too.. she's got those nice thick baby thighs now. Funny how that is a good thing at this age. At 30 she'd hate for me to say.. hey my daughter has nice thick thighs! ANYWAY...
She's doing great. Sometimes she puts up a fuss when it's naptime.. but now we try to plan errands in such a way she falls asleep on the way home and then you just plop her in her crib to finish her nap!
She clearly says Hi, Bye, and hello. Loves to wave! She loves to accessorize! things become bracelets all the time! She loves to wear hats too.

how cute is this!

She wore her ears for like 30mins before she took them off. Still working on Sunglasses, those don't stay on too long.

Now she's crawling like crazy, she's really fast too! and follows us around the house. She is VERY close to standing on her own. She'll do it with one hand now. And is really trying to walk when we hold her hands. She wants to do it all the time. She is doing great with her signing, we got a signing DVD. Gonna try to get her to watch it. She has no interest in TV. Just doesn't get it. Most parents complain their kids want to watch all the time, mine could care less. She just wants to play play play. Rut roh.. she just had a nightmare?!? or gas.. poor thing I just rubbed her back and she went back to sleep.. whew..

Anyway tomorrow Grandma and Grandpa are coming for a visit! Can't wait to see what Grandma thinks. She saw her when we got home and it's been a month. And Grandpa hasn't seen her yet.. well in person anyway. We Skype with them all the time! And she always waves hi and bye to them! oh.. Their cat Chessie.. weighs more than my kid! 20lbs! That's average for a Maine Coon Cat! wiki link here. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maine_Coon

Go Braves!!

That's the Power of Love..

Wednesday, September 29th

So gonna try uploading a video. It's the first time she danced!! and Murphy was dancing with her. So very cute.

So I went back to work this Monday. Ew.. "Work" a four letter word as my father says. It was ok, I mean it is work. Got lots of great welcome backs from everyone. Seems I didn't miss much while I was gone except that two new people joined our team!! While I was working I missed Robyn lots, but I knew she was in excellent hands with David being home. Right now he's gonna work 2 days and week and me 3. Our social worker said we need to give her at least 6 weeks before any daycare. And then we are only going to have her in daycare 2 days a week. I think she'll enjoy being with other kids. That's probably the only thing she's missing from the orphanage.

Otherwise she's just thriving! She's such an awesome child. She amazes us everyday. She can now crawl and her upper body strength is much better. She pulls herself up on her feet all the time. She comes right up to you and grabs your hands and then stands up. Also now she just babbles on and on. She says hi/hello and bye bye.. and waves for both. I think she understands no, because I'll say it and then she'll shake her head no. For example, she tried to pull the plug on her bath tub and I said "no Robyn". And she shakes her head no and pulls at the plug and then shakes her head no and does it again. Kinda funny right now. test test test...

She's really putting on some weight. The #2 diapers are just fitting now instead of gobs of room. And man we are changing her often with all the food this kid eats! One of her favorites is pasta with ricotta cheese and little garlic powder mixed in! This kid is not afraid of flavor! Tonight we had couscous with chicken, tomatoes and spinach with a balsamic vinegar sauce.. and she LOVED it!

We are having lots more luck with getting her to sleep. We just give her a bottle of the pediasure and she generally falls asleep before she finishes it.. Then wakes between 5-6am .. we change her and give her another bottle and then she sleeps to almost 8am. Tho tonight we went for a walk after dinner thinking that would mellow her out, WRONG. Now she's so much more interested in her environment it only got her going. So it took more than a bottle to get her to go to sleep. But I finally did and I think she's finally picked a favorite blanket. Got to get another so we have a spare!

So tomorrow David works and I get to be home and play. We might go to the Studios to visit some friends. Depends on the weather and her mood. She's still not so keen on sitting backwards by herself in the car. Takes lots of snacks and toys, or she just cries. That's one of those things she'll just need to get used to. No riding in my lap like in China!

Temper Temper

Sheesh... we just spent close to 3 hours trying to get her to sleep tonight. We are totally lost on what to do. She is the most agreeable kid until you put her in her crib. It's like we are dropping her into a fire ant nest! Cry and cry. I wish I knew what went on the in orphanage to understand why it's so horrible. We do our best to "pet" her and comfort without picking her up too much. We were rocking her to sleep, but that stopped working a day ago. She'd sense the rocking "stance" or hold and scream. So we finally gave up and gave her a bottle and woosh.. she's out. Maybe we have to do that for a while. I have no idea. I mean her pediatrician is like.. get her off the bottle and it's bad for her eating habits.. and then one adoptive site said .. anything goes at this point. and ya know.. i'm there pretty much. So it might be a bottle before bed.. just to get her into that mind set.

So wish us luck. And if anyone has any better ideas we are up for it.

Tuesday, Sept 21

So how are things going??? Pretty good. She's had some good nights and some bad. Last night was not a good one. So as soon as I am done with this post, I'm taking a nap. She fell asleep in the car as we were running errands this morning. She did really well I'd say. She likes to get out too.

Aunt Beth, our OT, said she has low tone in her core. We need to work on her core strength. So we try and do baby situps with her as we are playing with her and get her to crawl. She keeps trying to stand. She wants us to hold her arms/hands and she gets herself onto her feet. Little bugger. We are also working on sign language as that will be easier for her than the whole English thing at this point. I have some work to do as in calling local cleft Palate organizations and start things rolling for her. We've got lots of challenges ahead. Surgeries, speech therapy. Luckily she's a very determined girl..and quite the thinker.

Right now we have to work out the visiting schedule as all her aunts, uncles and grandparents want to come and visit! She's so popular! And we are also trying to work out when the Baptism will be. More on that later.

Some stuff for us. It's our 15th year anniversary this Thursday! Yey!! So if anyone is interested in babysitting so we can go out for a dinner, let me know!! We don't care when we go, just would like to soon. Also we need someone for November 2nd. That is David's WDW 20th annv dinner. Most likely it'll be more like house sitting as we'll get her to bed and then there's not much to do but hang out just in case she stirs. which lately is not the case, well not till in the early am and we'll be home by then.

So on we go. We have to start looking at David's vac time and how the money stash is doing to see how long we can go before we both need to work and she'll need to go to daycare 2 days a week. Dreading that. Though, she loves being around other children, it'd be interesting to see how that goes.

We developed the pictures the orphanage took for us. Very interesting to get a glimpse of what her life was like before we came along. Glad we came along.

Ok.. I put this tiara on her TOTALLY expecting her to just pull the garsh darn thing right off. Nope. She left it on and kept on playing. Like she knew she was a little princess!

Chicken Soup is good...

So almost home a whole week.. well actually that really won't be till Sunday. Seeing that we didn't get home till really late last Saturday. Anyway she's already making some progress.

She is sooo close to crawling and today she pulled herself up and sorta stood. She definitely has the strength to stand.

We went to her pediatrician on Thursday for her initial appt. And we got a pile of referrals. ENT, Plastic surgeon, PT, OT (which Aunt Beth will awesomely do for us). She's got alot ahead of her. Sorta sucks..lots of doctor crap. He was alarmed by her head size, she's in the 5th percentile. So either she has a small head because: her birth mom did drugs, infection during pregnancy or her birth mom had a small head. We are thinking the later just because of what we are seeing her pick up in just over 2 weeks of her being with us. As I speak she is emptying my office paper recycle bin. This kid LOVES paper. She'll be a scrap booker some day for sure! Either way we can't wait for Aunt Beth, who is an OT, to come out and assess her so we know where she stands developmentally and what things we can do to help her advance.

Let's see, she really doesn't like us feeding her all the time now, it's like she says.. I'm no baby Mom and Dad! We handed her a spoon and well she was giving it a try. And did we say this girl can eat!! holy moly. She eats an entire envelope of oatmeal for breakfast and some cherrios. She's now drinking from a cup, well sorta.. very close. She likes to put her hands in the cup. Wierd.

We are still having issues at night. Last night was a particularly rough one. We think she is cutting another tooth. Gave her some Tylenol and that seemed to help. Today we moved her crib into her room, she napped fine in there alone. Tonight we'll draw straws to see who gets to sleep with her in her room and who gets the nights sleep. Then we'll rotate. We are very irritable and I think some uninterrupted sleep would do us wonders.

She met her cousins Nicholas and Christopher who were just sooo excited to see her. They are visiting us and Disney World this weekend. She just sorta sat there and watched as the two of them were all over the place. She'd look at me like, really I'm related to these guys?!!? Very cute! Eventually the excitement lessened and she just kept watching both boys intently. She loved Uncle Lance and all his fun sound effects as he fed her dinner.

So today was a 3 hour nap. Let's see how that translates this evening. The Dr. said we need to get her off formula and on real food. So we are only doing bottle feedings overnight. It's a soothing thing too I think.

Otherwise things are going pretty well as we move along. Here are some great pictures from the last few days. You'll notice it's mostly of her eating. Did I say this girl can eat?!?!?

Donna came up with a great idea. C-Clamp her bowl to the table!
Chicken Soup is YUMMY!!
Off I go... backwards.........

Mid-Week fun

Howdy Howdy..

Well we are doing pretty well. Though all three of us are suffering a bit from Jet Lag. For us it's the fact she likes to get up in the middle of the night and chat and play and we just want to sleep. She didn't do that in China, she slept through the night for the most part.

Yesterday we took our first walk around with our cool stroller.

Here she is, she was in a bit of a foul mood at first, but the walk jeered her up.

We also ran some errands and she pretty much slept everytime we were in the car! Then we had dinner at our favorite pizza place, Primos in Lakeland. Oh man their pizza and calzones are to die for!.. deeelish. It's a tiny place but now the owner knows us and when he saw us walk in with Robyn it was pretty cool. All the employees loved watching her.

Pizza!!

She LOVES Ricotta cheese- is this kid not mine or what!!!

Bread and Ricotta cheese.. yum yum

Today we went by David's office to show her off and she was great. She truely is a social butterfly and loved all the extra attention. We have found the American equivalent to Chinese Rice Puffs. More baby crackers.. they are like crack for babies. She loves them. We went back home so she could nap then woke her up to have to come along to David's haircut appt.. well that didn't go over well. We needed to wake her also in an attempt to get her on our time zone. I stayed home with her and David left for his appt. She just wanted baby snacks.. and I was like no you must have some real food. She ate the yokes of 2 boiled eggs and some cherrios. Yum Yum.

We have new neighbors across the street. They moved in last week. Seem really nice. The wife, Jeannie, already brought me clothes that her 7mo old doesn't fit in. Seriously.. my kid is petite!. And she brought one of those walker things with wheels for Robyn and a swing rocker thing. How sweet is that! Nice to have a neighbor.. ya know a neighbor neighbor. Anyway, we tried out the swing thing after her bath and after about 2mins she was out. Wow. that's handy. Hopefully it works at 2am as well!

Well I'm pooped, trying to stay awake as I type this. She got up at 1am last night and played thru 4 or so.. ugh.
