Just a quick note, want to watch a movie tonight. Will upload lots more tomorrow during her nap! This weekend we met with other families that adopted little girls from China. Robyn LOVED the slide!

Wonderful Weekend!!!

Words cannot express how this past weekend went. Between the weather and just having most of our family here was just totally awesome! Robyn was the princess and everyone was a member of her royal court. Oh man was she spoiled!! She had a great time. And please everyone.. mail me a CD of your pictures.. I was soo freakin busy I didn't take very many this weekend.

Ok.. so this week. Monday.. like I posted already we had our follow up Dr appt.. then afterwards Robyn was great as I did all sorts of running around/errands! Tuesday it was back to school/daycare. She had a good day and then Wednesday she also went. When David picked her up Wednesday the ladies said she was walking around all day long! Guess she saw those other kids and decided.. today was the day. So Thursday was my day home with her. And yup.. she's walking! Was funny. Usually after breakfast I put her by her toys as I'm cleaning up the dishes and stuff. And then I hear.. clop clop.. and whoa.. there she is clinging on my leg! So here is some video I took that day of her walking all around!

I put her in the next size up shoes (3). She seems to be between sizes and I thought the bigger platform would help steady her up some. And it seems to be working! Adds a whole new dimension to our lives now! Luckily she's not too fast yet, so no worries of running out into the street.. well not yet anyway. It also tuckers her out! Which is nice! We love that now we can say.. hey go get that and bring it over to Mommy!! Loving that!

Here is a nifty thing she did with David, he was off with her on Friday. He said they were sitting by the TV having snack and she wanted the wrapper from the nut bar she was having. She took the wrapper from Daddy, then walked over to the kitchen(David followed to see what was up). She walked all the way into the kitchen, opened the trash can and threw it away!!! OMG!!! David didn't ask her to do this, just did it on her own! So he praised her and said she should close the lid, but that didn't happen. He grabbed her gave her a big hug and they went back by the TV. After the next nut bar was consumed, she did the same thing!! except this time she remembered what Daddy had said and closed the lid to the trash can!!!! This kid is sooo freakin smart!

After dinner we were playing around in the living room and Daddy had her on the couch and she kept trying to slide off. So I showed her how to turn around, lie on her stomach and slide off. And then she did it over and over. Each time Daddy had to pick her up and put her on the couch! We'd say.. yey!!! so then she'd clap and yell.. yey everytime she got down!!! Wish I had the video camera out for that one!

It is all soo amazing to see her progress. I count my blessings everyday. I can't believe how well she's doing!

OK.. other stuff. We are getting sooo excited. Next week it seems that EVERYONE is coming for her Baptism. Aunts, Uncles, Cousins.. good friends! Should be a good time! We are getting the house ready. The bathroom remodel is coming along GREAT!. The cabinet when in yesterday and today we are going to paint. I'll post pictures later.

So.. there ya go.. a nice long post! Will keep them coming!

So meanwhile.. we have the veggie garden going..

not much in the way of variety is growing.. with it so cold this past month.. Actually was coldest December ever on record according to National Weather Service!!!

anyway.. have lots of broccoli, lettuce and some strawberries..

Had some broccoli this weekend.. was deelish!

Wahooo.. cookies,crackers and such are ok!

The follow-up with the Dr. went great. And the Dr. wasn't too late!! how nice is that! Anyway she is healing up just great and we got the clearance to eat whatever.. within reason. No more restrictions on crackers.. cookies and crunchy stuff!! YEY.. just in time.. she goes to school/daycare tomorrow. I don't have to bring food for her!

She is doing great! She is just finishing her nap.. so I have a few mins here to post.

We are having our bathroom redone.. it's WAY over due .. we had all sorts of moisture issues and the like. And it's looking great!!! Tile was finished today.. will be grouted later this week!
