What a great party!

Oh man we had fun! It was a crazy weekend but totally worth it! The bouncy house arrived Friday. Yea I get a call from a neighbor at work around 3pm that the guys were there. I called them and he's like well i was on this side of town. I said, no we agreed between 6pm and 8. I'm not off till 4:15 and that's an hour earlier than normal! Figures.. well he drops it off anyway and I see him the next day with his money. No big deal.

Then on Saturday Robyn was up at 5AM! ug.. FIVE AM... Can we say she was just a LITTLE bit excited! David went back to sleep while her and I hung out in her room for a bit then did some coloring till around 730 or so. And that's when I told her to go get her Daddy up gently. Yea that didn't happen.. She slings the door aside (it's a pocket door) and runs in and yells! "Daddy get up!" Poor guy.

So we spent the morning getting the house cleaned up, the patio decorated and the food ready for the party. We had her test out the bounce house on her own! Around 1145 or so I took Robyn with me to Publix to get a few items I forgot. As we are checking out she says to me "Mommy I peed my pants" Oh MAN! ok.. so I don't have ANYTHING with me.. This was a quick trip to the store for like 3 items! So after I put the groceries in the car I strip her to her bottom.. wipe her with a towel I had in the car and buckle her in with nothing on from the waist down. It's all I had. She was upset. I think it was more that she was tired than the accident. Then I heard the .. I'm tired .. cry as I was driving home. (our Publix is only 2.5miles away) so I took the long way and bam.. she fell ASLEEP!!! YEY! I was really hoping she would. There's no way she would have made it through her party having been up at 5am. That gave us some quiet time to get the food ready. We made Huli Huli Wings.. like a pineapple Teriyaki sauce on them and a pineapple salad. David cooked the wings perfectly.. they were deelish!

We had to wake her once the guests started arriving! She was a bit groggy but ready to go. She didn't want to wear her special Lilo oufit, too itchy she said. Ya see she wanted to have a Lilo party, so we did a Hawaiian themed party with Lilo and Stitch. She wanted to wait for Riley and her sister Maddy to come before going into the bounce house. Once the girls arrive the kids were out there enjoying it! oh it was fun watching them play. Such joy.

The Publix ice cream cake was a hit and we all just had a really nice time. It was funny how shy she got when we sang Happy Birthday! She loves that song! Anyway, we had beautiful weather, and it got cooler as the day went on. Breezy but not too windy for the bounce house! All in all we had a GREAT day!

It's a good thing we did the party Saturday, Sunday was gray and miserable. What a shame she didn't get to use the bouncy house at all because of the rain. You get the thing for the entire weekend! oh well. :(

On Sunday our agent was supposed to come out to take the pictures and get the ball rolling on putting the house on the market. She was unable to because, it would seem, gloomy weather does not make for good pictures of the house! So I checked the weather and tomorrow is supposed to be bright and sunny. That just gave us a bit more time on Sunday to get the house all sparkly! And wow it looks good!

So there ya go. Wish us luck and prayers to get the house sold at a fair price and for David to get a job. I'll tell you about my new job in another post. I REALLY like it! I'm having fun again at work. I love my new office and I got all sorts of cool swag!

Cool shot of her helping us clean up the patio.

What happens when you leave her with a role of scotch tape!

For the Braves Fans.. McGriff! and Pendelton. We didn't see David Justice, but he was around there somewhere.

She and that squirrel were going around and around the tree.. Who was chasin who?

Looking cool while coloring...

Happy Birthday to you!

Yummy Cake!
